Bal krishna Tripathi was Born on 11/11/1965 in Village-Mujhan Thana Ahirauli Bazar Tehsil Kaptanganj District Kushinagar, Father late Shri Shyam Narayan Tripathi was working as a teacher in B.Ed department in Budh Post Graduate College Kushinagar and Mother late Mrs. Shakuntala daughter of late Brijnandan Pandey was a skilled housewife. Father was very religious and simple living.He always advised to live simple life and also advised that one should learn from everyone because each one has some good habits to be followed.Nature already teaches so one should cautiously watch natures activities also.His father always preferred job which relates to education and he himself tried to serve people in education in a number of ways.This attitude developed in Bal Krishna mind to get a job in which needy persons can be served with government policies on ground level so that thier grievances can be resolved and it will give great satisfaction.It led to enter into civil service.He also has an elder sister who is married to Additional Director Prosecution and lives in Gorakhpur.

Elementary education Saraswati Shishu Mandir Kushinagar and Class 6 to 12 in Budh Intermediate College Kushinagar Graduation (B.SC) and Post Graduation (M.SC-PHYSICS) in 1984 and 1986 respectively from Pandit Deendayal Vishwavidyalaya Gorakhpur with first class and first position.After passing NET and JRF scheme of CSIR, got registered in Higher Education Astronomy under the direction of Professor Radhey Mohan Mishra, gave the PCS exam in 1987 and was selected for the post of Treasury Officer and again gave the UPPCS exam in 1988, got the first rank in the state and was selected for the post of Deputy District Magistrate, later 1990 batch was determined in PCS.After public service in various districts, he was promoted to IAS Cadre in the year 2014 and 2008 batch IAS was allotted by DOPT.Married in the year 1993 with Sneh daughter of Late Mr. Satyendra Mishra who retired in 2007 as District Magistrate Amroha. Wife Sneha is a Law Graduate and Advocate.She was a member in the Consumer Forum in District Lucknow.
